2021 Easter Campaign // Big Lots //
I was tasked with creating the visual identity for Big Lots’ Easter campaign and working with the rest of the design team to implement a consistent cross-platform visual look. I started by pulling inspiration from the vibrant blue background of the images and built a color palette based on that. I then created a library of graphic elements and designed my example piece (the email pictured here). I decided to play with the corners of the rectangles to create a more stylistic container for information and imagery — it helped carry that visual identity of the campaign in a subtle way.
WHAT I DID
I concepted and designed the elements for the campaign, designed an example email and created a short style guide for designers.
THE PROCESS
I received light direction from the creative director for the campaign look, and I received a brief with promo and messaging information for the email portion.
